SURTRUCK, S.L., manages to register its inventory of greenhouse gas emissions in the National Register of Carbon Footprint, Reduction and Compensation of Emissions of MAPAMA.
SURTRUCK has managed to comply with the established work plan, after taking the initiative to calculate for the first time the carbon footprint of the organization, and has registered it in the National Carbon Footprint Registry of MAPAMA. The Registry was created as a tool to combat climate change, with the aim of promoting the control (calculation and reduction) of the emissions generated by Spanish organizations.
Having passed the review of its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory for two consecutive years, in accordance with an internationally recognized standard, MAPAMA has awarded SURTRUCK the official seal of the Registry for each year included in the study:
The project has been coordinated by ECOTERRAE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS, S.L., whose corporate carbon footprint is also recorded in the Registry, along with 534 other companies committed to controlling their contribution to global warming to fight climate change.
The next step will be to try to comply with the proposed Emissions Reduction Plan, as well as to consider the possibility of offsetting those emissions that cannot be reduced, with the aim of further progress towards sustainability Environmental.
