Surtruck has just received a very special order: the manufacture of 32 pressure washers that will carry Andalusian technology to erase dirt and fingerprints from the most complicated events held in the capital of Spain. The Madrid Emergency Cleaning Service (SELUR) has acquired 32 pressure washers which are already being worked on through Urbaser, the company awarded the contract.
According to Antonio Venegas, Surtruck’s Commercial Director of Road Cleaning, this is a very special order, which, in addition to the sustainability and efficiency of the prototypes developed by Surtruck, includes customised designs carried out by the engineering design company Mormedi. Together with Urbaser, the company awarded the service, Surtruck is working on the manufacturing process of the units, which will have a special bodywork.
Venegas emphasised that the commissioning of this project “is a very special contract for Surtruck and for our R+D+i department. We receive the vehicle designs from Mormedi, but we work with them in the process of turning their creations into reality, something that sometimes becomes an exciting challenge. That’s why we are very excited about an order that will have to respond to extreme situations: to the busiest events in the sector”.
