The Surtruck team has provided training in Guadalajara to optimise the use of a 10 cubic metre tanker on a Mercedes Benz Arocs 5 1835 4 x 2 purchased by Mercedes Benz Retail for the Guadalajara Provincial Council.

The cistern will have a dual use; it will be used for irrigation and watering on the one hand, and for transporting drinking water on the other.

It has an AISI 304 stainless steel tank with an octagonal section, a multi-stage pump with a capacity of 15 cubic metres per hour and 15 kilos per square centimetre with a vertical arrangement. It is a patented system with number U201531155 that has a mechanical seal and a pressure loss reduction system, permanently primed by the tank.

The auxiliary oil-hydraulic engine is 18 hp and is connected to the PTO to drive the pump. The engine and pump are installed on the bed, inside a soundproofed compartment integrated into the tank, next to the oil tank integrated into the tank.

In addition to this, there are the water distribution pipes inside the tank, the mains loading on the right side of the vehicle with 70 millimetre diameter Barcelona coupling and 70/45 reduction; the gravity discharge on the left side of the vehicle with 70 millimetre diameter Barcelona coupling, the rear anti-slip ladder, the folding protection handrails on the vehicle roof, the tool box on the side of the vehicle, the two rotating amber LED headlights on the cab, two work lights, the anti-fouling bar in accordance with legislation; the articulated side protection bars; the painting of the equipment in the colour of the chassis, including epoxy treatment and surface enamel paint; the rear reel; the sweeping bar integrated into the chassis with two sets of adjustable nozzles with Venturi effect, and the patented design No. 0522712 3. Complies with R61 and R93 regulations.

It has a safe driving system, design for compliance with Article 13.3 of the Road Safety Act and a motor pump for emptying.
