The company Surtruck was awarded the specifications published by the City Council of Fuenlabrada to float an irrigation and bucket tank on a chassis owned by it, intended for the local fire brigade.

Vehicle features

Hydrostatic soundproof tank with 10,500 litre aluminium tank. 

Vehicle intended for irrigation and baling on a Mercedes Benz chassis, owned by the Fuenlabrada Aytuntamiento.

The equipment has the following main features:

• Tank of 10,500 lts (real) adapted to the vehicle frame.
• Tank built in special duralumin INOXST83 5 mm thick with SURTRUCK certification.
• Multistage pump of 10 m3/h and 18 Kg/cm2. (Patent Number U201531155)
• Front bar for irrigation and integrated flaking.
• Automatic hose holder with swivel fitting and 25 m, hose with adjustable lance, located in the rear of the vehicle between rack lengths without increasing the overhang of the vehicle.
• Control panel in the cab for the operation of the hydraulic system composed of electropneumatic handlers.
• Safe Driving System (SCS).
• Pressure outlet on one side with a diameter of 25 mm and with a retractable reel with 20 m hose.
• Loading and emptying mouth on the right side
• Flow drive of progressive regulations (0% to 100%).
• Water level indicative tube in the tank.
• Overflow tube with direct discharge to the ground, without interference to the chassis or mechanical elements.
• Approved time-travel device.
• Anti-cyclist protection bars.
• White finish paint and signage in the cab and chassis
• 360o adjustable aluminium pole with 10 m hose and lance.
• Blue-colored led swivel headlamp.
• Side swaying for manqueras of the same color as the tanker.
• Pressure intake kit to measure braking efficiency.
• Installation of refrigeration equipment facilitated by the customer.
