The Cordoba City Council fire brigade has opted for top quality hoses by purchasing 15 units of the Ribbflex Kontrast model from Surtruck, with a diameter of 38mm and a length of 20m. According to José Luis Pérez, sales manager of Surtruck’s equipment division, these are light and flexible textile hoses, which comply with DIN 14811/L3 and ÖNORM F 2105.

As already mentioned, these hoses are light and flexible, while maintaining a high resistance to abrasion. In particular, they are resistant from -30°C to +100°C and have very low friction losses.

In a variety of lengths and diameters, these hoses have an inner rubber layer with high thermal and chemical resistance. This layer is protected on the outside by another layer made of 100% high tenacity polyester thread. This outer layer is constructed with a circular section in double twill weave and reinforced with 12 times interlaced yarns. In addition, their yellow colour, high visibility with blue and red lines and black thread reinforcement, makes them highly visible in environments obscured by the action of smoke.
