The City Council of Almuñécar has presented this week a new fleet of vehicles for road cleaning, among which is an 8m3 soundproof hydrostatic tank with aluminum tank, designed and manufactured by Surtruck.

Surtruck’s technology and manufacturing system have made it possible for the bodywork to be carried out in 35 days, in the face of the needs of the service, compared to the 60 days that are normally required.

The mayor of the town, Trinidad Herrera, has chaired the presentation made by the contracting company of the municipal cleaning of urban waste and beaches, Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas (FCC), of the new fleet of vehicles for the municipality of the coast of Granada. The event has also featured the delegate of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development of the Board in Granada, María José Martín, and the head of FCC in Eastern Andalusia, Javier Irigoyen. The vehicles have been shown at the Francisco Bonet Sports Stadium.

In addition to this presentation to the media, the city council operators have received a training day from Antonio Venegas, commercial director of road cleaning and O&M Termosolares de Surtruck.

The technical characteristics of this tank are as follows:
