Surtruck’s facilities in Seville have received a visit from the heads of the Fire Department of the Madrid City Council. The purpose of this visit was to inform the managers of the procedures, designs and characteristics of the technological advances incorporated into the fire fighting vehicles manufactured by Surtruck.
Rafael Ferrándiz Albendea, head of the Fire Department, and Luís Soriano Cruz, from the Deputy Operational Inspection, were able to personally verify the process that Surtruck follows for the manufacture of its vehicles, adjusting its prototypes to the needs and specifications of the clients, something that has allowed the company to optimize the technology developed.
Surtruck’s Madrid office officially opened last January, with Luis Martín in charge. The delegate explained to the representatives of the Madrid City Council Fire Department the procedures applied throughout the manufacturing process, from design in the technical office to quality control, as well as testing and certification in the laboratory.
The two fire department officials have highlighted the pleasant impression they had of Surtruck’s facilities in Seville. They commented that they liked the fact that “with great effort and dedication, this Spanish company is trying to do things well, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the market”.
Ferrándiz and Soriano stated that “the company’s technical and human team is outstanding, as well as its capacity to innovate and achieve certification and homologation of its products”.
The delegate of Surtruck in Madrid, Luis Martín, has expressed his satisfaction with this outstanding visit, highlighting that from now on the Fire Department of the Madrid City Council has a much broader vision of what Surtruck is, “having been able to personally verify not only the quality of the components with which we manufacture our vehicles, but also Surtruck’s involvement in research to improve the vehicles on a daily basis, with special emphasis on the safety of firefighters inside a vehicle of our brand, as it has all the certifications, something that they have valued very positively,” he said.
This visit is another example of the results that, in such a short time, Surtruck’s delegation in Madrid is reaping, fulfilling its objective of becoming the showcase of the company in the capital of Spain. An enclave in which to publicize the technology designed and patented by Surtruck, which it applies to the vehicles it manufactures for the fire-fighting and cleaning sectors.
