Technology from Seville to clean the streets with a 40% reduction in water consumption. This is the vehicle that the company Surtruck presented at the TECMA 2024 Show in Madrid and which is also characterised by the absence of noise and the safety of workers thanks to the low voltage of the equipment, which prevents accidents.

Eight years after its first participation in the TECMA Show, Surtruck is once again the pioneering company at the forefront of sustainability in cleaning, having taken its latest technology to the International Trade Fair for Urbanism and the Environment 2024, exhibited at stand 8C09 in Pavilion 8 at the Ifema Conference Centre in Madrid. Throughout the three days of the fair, the Andalusian company was able to showcase its most innovative product: the addition of the ECO-Cleaning Low Water Consumption system to its electrical technology.

The company has been visited by all the clients who are committed to noise reduction, reduced emissions, reduced water consumption, reduced energy consumption and, above all, concern for the quality of life of citizens and the safety of the operators who use the equipment.

According to Antonio Venegas, Surtruck’s Sales Director for Road Cleaning, “the performance of our cleaning and sweeping equipment has been very surprising. In view of the drought affecting Spain, we have been the first manufacturer to start working on reducing water consumption and we have brought to TECMA a cleaning vehicle that combines the efficiency of our ecological equipment with a system that allows it to reduce water consumption by at least 40% while cleaning with the same efficiency as conventional equipment, and maintaining the basic requirements of sound reduction, pollutant emissions… We believe that the combination of low water consumption and safe electricity gives us the perfect equipment to achieve environmentally sustainable vehicles that do not emit or make unnecessary consumption. Our customers, suppliers and everyone who came to the stand appreciated this”.

The cities with the most specialised and trained technicians, such as Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and San Sebastian, where sustainability is a must, have been trusting Surtruck for 8 years as the benchmark company that provides environmental solutions that set the market dynamics. This has been recognised during their visits to the stand and in the same way they have highlighted the capacity to always surprise in each TECMA, leaving the Sevillian company in its rightful place as the true technological precursor of cleaning in Spain.

Information was also provided on another of the Sevillian company’s greatest strengths: manufacturing cleaning equipment with the latest technology adapted to the precise needs of its clients’ cleaning services. In this line, it recently presented the first pressure washer vehicle with the capacity to transport two containers at the same time together with 1,000 litres of water on its floor for cleaning, with the advantage of being prepared for a user with a type B driving licence and narrow manoeuvrability for all city streets. Likewise, its attendance at TECMA has been completed with new distributions, being of special interest the beginning of the new collaboration to sell electric tricycles after 12 years since the members of Surtruck designed the first prototype unit that has served for the development of the product in Spain.

The Andalusian company has also shown in Madrid its main strength: manufacturing cleaning equipment with the latest technology, which also adapts to the needs of its customers’ cleaning services. The company’s stand also featured equipment to help in extreme situations, such as Lith-ex extinguishers, with lithium-ion and lithium-polymer batteries.
