The company Clece has acquired an Eco-Cleaning, electric driven hydrocleaner vehicle, with gas boiler for hot water, and whose destination is the cleaning service of Line 5 of the Barcelona Metro TMB.
The equipment, manufactured by Surtruck, will carry out the cleaning of the metro hydrants and outdoor areas of Line 5, working mainly during night hours. Clece has rated our system above other manufacturers, mainly for its low acoustic emissions; Eco-Cleaning is characterized by being extremely quiet in its operation, compared to other cleaning vehicles, and manages to greatly minimize the inconvenience to the neighbors of the surrounding areas to the mouths of the Metro. They have also highly valued its environmental character, being an electrical equipment with gas boiler and therefore of emissions 0.
Our modern vehicle also has an intelligent system, with self-recharging of batteries through the engine of the vehicle itself, which gives it a long autonomy.
Eco-Cleaning has already been tested in May on the streets of Barcelona. It was a night test with the company Ferrovial; it was completed at 5:45 a.m., with a total of 53 services and about 150 containers, and the battery was still at 61%.
