He joined the company on March 9, 2015, so he has just completed his first decade in the company. Aware that Surtruck is in continuous growth, he has taken on the responsibility of leading the company’s growth as commercial director. A challenge for which he feels more than prepared, having spent all this time as director of one of the areas, which is still under his direct responsibility: Street Cleaning.
Q.- Did you expect this responsibility?
A.- Throughout this decade, I have evolved personally and professionally along with the company, which has grown in a sustainable way and betting on new technologies and developments, always with a focus on customer needs. It was not my first objective that this path would lead me to assume the responsibility of commercial director, but each step I have taken has prepared me for this challenge.
Q.- How is the approach going to change?
A.- The time has come to grow. In this first decade we have been more focused on designing the products we wanted and strengthening the structure in its different departments. Now we have made a firm commitment to commercial expansion with an increase in the department, in resources and people, as well as in the progressive opening of new branches, which will drive the growth strategy.
Q.- Where will the branches be opened?
A.- The next one will be in Barcelona, with the idea of strengthening and increasing our presence there and providing after-sales service directly to our customers. But it will not be the only one, we plan to have a direct presence in other areas of Spain.
GROWTH
Q.- And at an economic level?
A.- In terms of turnover, the objective is to achieve double-digit growth. If in 2024 we had a turnover of 10 million euros, in 2027 our objective is to double that turnover.
Q.- What is planned for foreign expansion?
A.- Abroad offers us many possibilities. Studies are being carried out in different areas to see which markets could be the most interesting to introduce our products. The equipment, designs and technological innovations are being highly valued outside our borders. We are positioning ourselves in South America, as is the case of Chile and Peru; there is also equipment working in the Arab Emirates … The idea is that the international business line grows and becomes a fundamental pillar in SURTRUCK’s growth.
Q.- What allies does Surtruck have to meet all these challenges?
A.- Undoubtedly, with our human team. We are all important within the structure of SURTRUCK, when I joined as a salesman we were less than 10 employees and today we are more than 70, everything happens because of the commitment, the dedication and the desire to learn and grow of all of us and all those who have to join us. We are all essential to meet the objectives we have set ourselves in the short, medium and long term.
