The targets for the new energy model are set at a 30 per cent reduction in primary energy consumption and renewable energy supply of 35 per cent of gross final energy consumption by 2030.
The law also provides for actions to compensate for CO2 emissions by absorbing natural sinks mainly linked to forestry projects and forecasting the management of protected natural areas to enhance their capacity carbon fastening.
The event, held in the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Andalusia (CEA), was attended by the Councillor for Environment and Land Management of the Junta de Andalucía, José Fiscal, and the Secretary General of the CEA, Luis Fernández-Palacios.
