Surtruck’s narrow fire-fighting vehicles, the company’s emblem, having been pioneers in their manufacture, will soon have a new city as their destination: Cordoba. Surtruck has been awarded the contract by the Cordoba City Council for two narrow urban pumps and two support and transport vehicles. According to the commercial director of Vehículos Contra Incendios, Manuel Santana, this is the first contract to be awarded in Cordoba “and we are very excited because we are going to be able to demonstrate the efficiency of our vehicles, which are the narrowest and most efficient on the market”.
After highlighting the Cordoba City Council’s commitment to having the latest firefighting technology in the smallest dimensions, Santana recalled that Surtruck has been manufacturing the narrowest BUL (Light Urban Pump) and VAT (Support and Transport Vehicle) on the market since 2015. Throughout all these years, production has been progressing and perfecting according to the needs that have been raised by customers. A challenge that has led Surtruck to manufacture different proposals, each time more advanced in technology and reduced in size, and all of them with their corresponding certifications.
Surtruck vehicles currently serve the narrowest and most difficult to access urban centres throughout Spain, with units in Seville, Granada and Toledo, among others.
