Surtruck has provided, through its own personnel and technicians specialised in hydraulics, the necessary training to the firefighters of the province of Cadiz so that they can use the BULs (Ultralight Urban Pumps) that have been ordered by the Cadiz Consortium to the Sevillian company. These are 23 BULs with a special reduced width that will allow them to penetrate more easily into the urban areas of the municipalities.
As this year Surtruck will make the first delivery of vehicles to the Consortium, the first 12 BULs, the company has taken advantage of these days to provide training for the professionals. As explained by the commercial director of Fire Fighting Vehicles, Manuel Santana, three groups have been organised for the general training, distributed throughout the province, to whom the training has already been given, which has lasted a week at each point. It has been offered in the Arcos de la Frontera park, in the city of Cádiz and in Algeciras.
Surturck also offered training in hydraulics through specialised personnel. For this purpose, a three-day seminar was organised in which the trainers and coordinators of the Consortium participated. The aim of this training plan was to enable professionals to get the most out of the vehicles they will soon be using to carry out their fire-fighting work and save lives.
