The Association of Volunteer Firefighters acquires a vehicle to serve Tenerife

Surtruck has just received the order to manufacture a Light Urban Pump that will be destined for Tenerife from the Adeje Volunteer Firefighters Association. It will be delivered at the beginning of 2023 and becomes the first fire-fighting unit to operate on the island under the Surtruck brand.

As explained by Surtruck’s Commercial Director of Fire Fighting, Manuel Santana, this is an acquisition of similar characteristics to the 23 units manufactured for the Cadiz Consortium which will allow the professionals to provide service on the coast of Tenerife.

Apparently, according to the firefighters, the reduced dimensions were the key to making the purchase, given that it will allow them to access the narrowest areas of the city centre.  The purchase contract was signed by the president of the Adeje Volunteer Firefighters consortium, César Álvarez.
