It is the first fire-fighting vehicle manufactured in Spain, with a separate cabin for the chassis and bodywork.
The Councilor of the City of Logroño, Miguel Sainz, presented on July 30 the new fire truck designed and manufactured by Surtruck.
The vehicle will mainly deal with fires in the urban area of Logrogne, as indicated by the building, and in its own words: "It is a faster, more reliable vehicle, with the latest generation foam system, better lighting, light urban pump and cabin for five occupants."
It is the first fire-fighting vehicle manufactured in Spain, which has an endowment cabin independent of the chassis and bodywork. It is normal to see firefighter vehicles with original double cabins from the chassis manufacturer, which come from the factory with seats without self-contained breathing equipment. In this way, the bodybuilder must install seats with self-contained breathing equipment and then approve and test them for the regulations of anchors, belts and restraint mechanisms.
Surtruck already has its own cabin (S-Cab) where with Bostrom Seats there are all the regulations in terms of safety that require the commissioning of a vehicle.
