On March 8, the Fire Department of the City of Seville held at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions, FIBES, the day of its patron, San Juan de Dios, with an institutional event that was presided over by the delegate of Security, Mobility and Major Festivals , Juan Carlos Cabrera, and the delegate of Human Resources, Clara Macías, and in which various recognitions were given to members as well as to collaborating institutions or entities.
The City Council recognized the effort and years of service of 64 firefighters and distinguished six entities or collaborators of the service, and the agencies that manage emergency calls of the citizens.
Among the recognized entities was Surtruck, whose director, Juan Gallego García de Vinuesa, collected a plaque of thanks, from the Ninth Lieutenant Mayor, Clara Macías.
At the events held during this day, Surtruck also participated as a collaborating entity in the IV edition of the Chronoescalated Torre Sevilla, organized by the Sports Fire Club of Seville. The event concentrated more than 60 athletes from the Firefighters of Seville, Zaragoza, Cáceres, Cadiz, Córdoba, Madrid, Almería, Talavera de la Reina, Torremolinos and Aena.
